Beneath the Chaos

Dig, if that's what it takes!

Trust (this may be the hard part)

that 1) silence lies beneath

and 2) you'll be capable of accessing it.

Yes, you: capable.

It doesn't take a superpower

to power through the chaos.

Au contraire.

It takes stillness,

a willingness to sit in silence

until you hear your life,

which lies waiting, expectant,

beneath the surface noise.

Even once you find the peace,

chaos will spread itself like lava

over all you have uncovered.

But here's the difference:

You know, finally, what lies beneath.
