Be specific.
Reference the details of the day.
Don't generalize about "lunch" or "dinner".
Instead say the annual hamburger
dressed in Korean flavours.
Say burrata, spread on
home-baked flatbreads,
with oven-roasted cherry tomatoes
whose caramelized sugars surprise the burrata
with tart and sweet.
Say cranking the oven to 500 degrees
at 7 in the morning
to bake the mongrel-seeded sourdough loaf
that rose all night in the cool of the fridge,
wrapped in its linen shroud.
Be specific.
Love is in the details.
