The Sky

The heroic sky is held above by endless effort—

we hope it is endless

or otherwise Chicken Little

would really have a just cause.

 

Chicken Little, the only Cassandra we know,

leads the charge

(would LIKE to lead the charge)

charged with effecting change.

 

Alas, her followers

(Turkey Lurkey, Ducky Lucky, and the others)

allow themselves to be diverted

(and eaten)

by the villainous

(and truly ruthless leader),

Foxy Loxy.

 

Thus are we so easily led astray

by toothy, sweet-talking

evil incarnate

(especially, but not necessarily,

if he has good hair).
